01 / HEAT CONTROL
Thermal control starts with the glass.
Panoramic roof comfort depends on more than how dark the glass looks. Reflection, absorption and transmission of sunlight also matter. Glass heats up as it absorbs solar radiation, then affects cabin comfort through conduction and radiation.
GOONA GLASS uses vacuum-sputtered multilayer ceramic coatings. Their optical design reflects infrared radiation to reduce the solar heat load on the glass and cabin. It replaces the entire roof glass; thermal performance comes from the integrated glass and coating system.

Developed around Model Y roof curvature and installation requirements, the process combines shaping, lamination and inspection to address fit and automotive glass safety.

Professional glass replacement.
From Compatibility Checks to Handover
GOONA GLASS replaces the original roof glass. Provide the vehicle model and year before purchase so the sales location can confirm compatibility, availability and installation.
Installation includes removing the original glass, cleaning bonding surfaces, preparing seals and adhesive, positioning the glass and final inspection. The installer must confirm the method and adhesive curing time for the vehicle and materials.
At Handover
Check the glass, edges and installation. Obtain safe drive-away timing, car-wash restrictions and a service contact.
Routine Cleaning
Use a soft cloth and neutral cleaning products; avoid scratching with hard objects. Follow product and installation instructions for cleaning and accessory compatibility.
If You Notice a Problem
If cracks, leaks or unusual noises occur, contact the original seller or installer for inspection. Avoid dismantling or repairing it yourself.

Is this film, a sunshade or replacement glass?
GOONA GLASS is heat-insulating panoramic roof glass. Installation replaces the original glass; it is neither applied window film nor a sunshade.
Does it fit every Model Y model year?
It was developed for Model Y, but compatibility must be checked for different years and revisions. Provide vehicle details so the sales location can verify the product and installation requirements.
Will I still need film or a sunshade?
Thermal control is integrated into the glass. Additional shading depends on your brightness and privacy preferences. Before fitting film or clips, check compatibility with the glass, coatings and warranty conditions.
How do I confirm product and installation warranties?
Request the current product and installation warranty terms before purchase. Confirm coverage, duration, service contact and conditions, and retain purchase and installation records.
Can I buy directly from SHAN-CING?
SHAN-CING researches, designs and manufactures the product but does not currently sell it directly. Contact a sales location for purchasing and installation.
